Short Bio

William C. Dudley is a Senior Research Scholar at the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies at Princeton University. He also is a member of the Group of Thirty and the Council on Foreign Relations. From 2009-2018, he served as the tenth president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as vice-chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). During this period, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements and chaired the Committee on Payments and Settlement Systems and the Committee on the Global Financial System.
